Terms and Conditions:


All reservations made through this website must be accompanied by credit card details and full payment will be taken at the time of reservation.
All rates are quoted in NZ dollars on a per night basis and include GST @ 15%.  All accounts must be settled directly with Gables Lakefront Motel.
The prices indicated are per room, for the number of people and the date(s) selected previously, unless otherwise specified (packages).
Rates do not apply to conferences, conventions or special events for which contracted rates and special terms and conditions are available on request.
Cancellation & Refund Policy:
All cancellations must be received no later than 48 Hours prior to your arrival.
If you cancel 48 hours prior to your arrival or less you will be charged 100% of the total accommodation amount.  This includes no shows and cancellation of nights after arrival.
Please note:  Special events and promotional room rates/offers  a no cancellation policy applies, which means, no refunds or changes permitted.
All cancellations and amendments  must be received in writing.  Refunds will only be made to the credit card debited for the original 
The price advertised might not be the same price charged to the credit card account due to exchange rate.  Fluctuations -  This means that because we are based in New Zealand we have to convert your purchase to New Zealand Dollars  at the exchange rate on the day it is processed.
Age:   You must be 18 years or over.
Payment will be taken in full at the time of booking and  Proof of ID will be required on arrival and presentation of credit card .All reservations made through this web site 
must be accompanied by credit card details.

2.  Direct Bookings/Reservations
Direct bookings/reservations with the hotel will be at the contracted rates in New Zealand (NZD) dollars and will be due for settlement upon confirmation or by alternative arrangement.  Method of payment (Cash, 
Visa, MasterCard,  Eftpos). 
The above terms and conditions as set out supersede all previous agreements, arrangements and contracts.
Refunds will only be made to the credit card debited for the original transaction.
Whilst every effort has been made to ensure the accuracy of all information, Gables Lakefront Motel  does not accept liability for any errors or omissions and reserves the right to change information and descriptions of products in the motel. 
Force Majeure
Gables Lakefront Motel  will not be in any breach of this agreement or in any way liable, if it is prevented from complying with the supply of accommodation and other related services by reason of Act of God, Act 
of Public Enemy, War, Earthquake, Riot, Fire, Storm, Flood, Explosion, Compliance with any Law of Government Restraint Order, Rule Regulations, Strikes, Lock Outs or any other cause not reasonably within the control of the property.

Registration is completely optional. Registration may include submitting your name, email address, address, telephone numbers, option on receiving updates and promotional material and other information. You may access this information at any time by logging in and going to your account. 
Credit Card Details
4. Credit Card details and payment are taken at the timeof booking using DPS Payment Express payment gateway.  This is a PCI DSS Certified Transaction Gateway.  Your card data is not stored by Gables Lakefront Motel, therefore on arrival we will request proof of id and completionof our registration card.
5. Apart from where you have consented or disclosure is necessary to achieve the purpose for which it was submitted, personal information may be disclosed in special situations where we have reason to believe that doing so is necessary to identify, contact or bring legal action against anyone damaging, injuring, or interfering (intentionally or unintentionally) with our rights or property, users, or anyone else who could be harmed by such activities. Also, we may disclose personal information when we believe in good faith that the law requires disclosure. 
6. We may engage third parties to provide you with goods or services on our behalf. In that circumstance, we may disclose your personal information to those third parties in order to meet your request for goods or services. 
7. We strive to ensure the security, integrity and privacy of personal information submitted to our site, and we review and update our security measures in light of current technologies. Unfortunately, no data transmission over the Internet can be guaranteed to be totally secure.
